Every Photograph Has a Story.

Almost every photograph you’ll find here was made within 30 minutes of my home in Brunswick County, North Carolina.

Some took months of planning. Some happened because I forgot my camera bag. Some only exist because I listened when I felt God nudging me to go. Every one reminds me that extraordinary moments are usually hiding in ordinary places—you just have to notice them.

I picked up my first camera more than twenty years ago, but a few years ago I made the decision to become intentional about getting better. Since then, I’ve spent countless mornings chasing sunrises, evenings waiting on moonrises, nights under the Milky Way, and more hours than I can count watching wildlife simply to understand what it might do next.

Most of the photographs here were made right here in Brunswick County. A few come from places farther from home, but every image has earned its place through patience, planning, and a story worth telling.
